The Golden Stag
In Golden Stag, I wanted to capture the quiet, majestic presence of a noble stag stepping into an ethereal, abstract forest. I built up the canvas with heavy impasto brushwork and palette knife textures, letting the sweeping, tree-like golden antlers radiate a warm light. By contrasting fiery oranges and deep ochres against vibrant blues and cool turquoises, I aimed to surround the serene creature with a dramatic interplay of color—giving it a mystical, dreamlike energy.
